Implementation of Safety Management System into Jat Tehnika

Jat Tehnika is aircraft MRO dedicated to high quality of service. Furthermore, in order to be in compliance with upcoming (2012) EASA, FAA and Serbian regulations, Jat Tehnika is in process of establishing Safety Management System (SMS).

SMS for Managers CourseManagement of Jat Tehnika is determined to maintain aviation safety related activities, safety of employees, environmental protection and customer service quality.

During second half of 2011, Safety Manager is appointed, SMS Implementation plan is issued, SRB & SAG committees are established and first course “SMS for Managers” is completed.


In this stage of SMS implementation Jat Tehnika is well ahead of present regulations, confirming itself as a leading MRO in south-east Europe.

Extension of Jat Tehnika - Jet2.com Aircraft Technical Services Agreement

Jet2.com and Jat Tehnika have continued their cooperation as they signed  extension of agreement for Base Maintenance of  Jet2.com Boeing 737 fleet on next five years, starting from winter season 2012, up to 2017. The  agreement extension has been signed today by Mr. Andy Menzies, Jet2.com Technical Director and Mr. Srdjan Miskovic, Jat Tehnika General Manager in Jat Tehnika Belgrade base.


Jet2.com Airplanes in Base MaintenanceJet2.com has been customer of JAT Tehnika since 2007. For the first four seasons Jat Tehnika has performed more than 30 heavy maintenance checks on Boeing 737 Classic aircraft including modifications, corrosion prevention program and various repairs, component and engine maintenance.


Jat Tehnika looks forward to increase and consolidate good and professional relationships with Jet2.com Company as it has been recognized as one of the key players on demanding UK airline market.

JAT Airways preparation for summer season

JAT Airways start campaign to prepare fleet for summer season.
Jat Tehnika will perform C-checks on five B737-300 and one ATR72 aircraft in Base Maintenance and overhaul on six CFM56 engines in Engine Workshop in order to fulfill JAT Airways requirements prior to start of summer season.

New Line Station KJA

01.05.2011.

Jat Tehnika proudly announces opening of the new Jat Tehnika Line Station in Krasnoyarsk (Airport KJA), Russia. The station is operational starting from 01st of May 2011. Jat Tehnika provides line maintenance services for Taimyr Airlines (www.taimyravia.ru, brand name NORDSTAR, www.nordstar.su) new fleet of four ATR 42-500 as part of technical support project from airplane manufacturer ATR (http://www.atraircraft.com/newsroom/press-releases-details-1137-en.html).

Russian CAA Permission

24.03.2011.

Jat Tehnika has received permission to perform maintenance on Boeing 737-300/400/500 (CFM56), Boeing 700/800 (CFM56) and ATR 42/72 (PW120) aircraft, operated by Russian carrier.  This permission   has been issued by Ministry of Transportation of Russian Federation – Federal AirTransport Agency.
